Out of the ashes of Heavy Metal comes a band called Haiz Rail. Their journey into the Metal Lands of Rock-n-Roll began over a decade ago. Overcoming obstacles along the way, this four man band has written and produced four albums of in-your-face, aggressive/progressive, yet melodic, material. If you wanna "Bang 'til ya Bleed", check out " D'RICULOUS," " TAKE OFF YOUR PANTS AND JACKET," " HANG ON TO THE RAILS AND RIDE," and their latest release "CROSSROAD OVERLOAD."
Haiz Rail is…Les (lead vocals -lead guitar), Allen (drums), Jimi (rhythm guitar/backing vocals) Drew (Bass/backing vocals). Along with his soaring guitar riffs, Les' vocal range can turn from a scream to a growl instantaneously. Jimi's hard driving, methodic riffs and Drews' smooth-groove style technique provides a sound that's undeniable. Last but certainly not least, is the madman behind the drums. A combination of furious mayhem and aggressive behavior describes Allen when HAIZ RAIL is live on stage. Speaking of live performances; whether these guys are covering bands such as Metallica, Ozzy, AC/DC, Bush, Skid Row, KISS or doing their own material, you're sure to get one hell of a show!
In the past the H.R. boys have had the privilege to open for "Hotter Than Hell" (the nationally known KISS tribute band), "Mr. Crowley (the Ozzy tribute band) and the infamous '80's band RATT. In 2001, Haiz Rail was voted #6 out of the top 10 bands from the Triad of North Carolina by online votes hosted by local radio station 100.3 The Buzzard. Also, they receive regular air play on local radio station 90.9 WQFS.
In 2002 they took part in playing the New Jersey Metal Fest in Asbury Park, NJ. They shared the stage with "Man O War", "Nuclear Assault", "Rob Rock" and other well-known artists. The year of 2003 they also opened for L.A. Guns and Black-n-Blue. Haiz Rail has a quest for performing live and watching the crowd…
